Hype The Sound is an independent music publication based in Tampa, Florida. Created originally as an Instagram page to feature music photography of the local music scene, Hype The Sound has quickly evolved to feature talented artists around the globe who deserve much more love and attention than they are getting. Many of the artists featured on Hype The Sound are entirely independent and rely on the funds generated from shows, music, and merch sales. The main goal of Hype The Sound is to celebrate the underground music scene, with the hopes of the reader finding new favorite music along the way.
